About our Internship
Music Therapy Pathways-Creative Arts Therapy, PLLC is a private agency providing school-based music therapy services to children ages 3-22 in the G.L.O.W. Region of New York State which includes school districts in Genesee, Livingston, Orleans, and Wyoming Counties. The agency contracts with various school districts and county health departments to provide services for children from 3-22 years of age with a variety of developmental and intellectual disabilities, social/emotional needs, and/or learning challenges.
Music Therapy Pathways-Creative Arts Therapy, PLLC is comprised of 8 full-time, board-certified music therapists. Monthly staff meetings and ongoing professional development are facilitated with the leadership of the agency director. The agency provides evaluations, individual treatment, group treatment and consultation services. Our staff work as a member of a student’s treatment team. The team may consist of any of the following (depending on the client): Music Therapist, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Social Worker, Teacher, Psychologist, Teacher of the Hearing or Visually Impaired and parents.
